Oops, so I’ve been home now for nearly a week. There really wasn’t much opportunity to post whilst I was overseas, and then I came home and it was Christmas! Ha. Gotta love this time of year, jolly jolly jolly. I got a new mac slim keyboard, and am loving it. I geeked out for a little bit when I unwrapped it, heh.

Thailand and Laos were amazing. It really was interesting to see the difference between Thailand and Laos, as soon as you cross the friendship bridge into Laos you can just feel the difference almost immediately. My only real experience of Asia has been visiting Malaysia, and I think KL and Bangkok have similarities, but apart from that, everything else was pretty different. Bangkok was a lot more modern than I anticipated, part of that due to my naivety I’m sure.
